Festering Gel

Combat Deviation

Festering Gel is a Combat deviation. When activated, Place down a Barricade in front of the player, which will slowly recover the health and sanity for the surrounding friendly players.

 

Abilities​

  • Flawless Fortification: Upon being thrown, it knocks back enemies near the target and forms a new fortification.

  • Build Fortification: Autonomously forms a fixed shelter that blocks attacks. Allied players near the shelter recover 6.0% HP and 3.0% Sanity every second.

 

How to get:

  • Obtainable as a reward after defeating the Ravenous Hunter in the Monolith of Greed (5858, -4813) Dayton Wetlands

  • The deviant will be received in a bubble outside the boss's loot so a controller is not needed to claim.

  • The higher the difficulty level of the boss, the higher the potential level of the deviant.​​

Variations:

Variations of this Deviant were added during Deviant Override Season for phase 1 of the once-human campaign. These deviants have unique colour pallets and unique abilities corresponding to their Variation.

Unique Trait: Starry Sky - Marine Star

The appearance of this Deviation has changed. When synched, each reload gives you either a 5%  Weapon DMG Bonus or a 5% Status DMG Bonus at random.

There is currently not much information about these variations, but these will be added as soon as they are available.
